It gives a sense of uneasiness with the weird close ups and shaky camera in the beginning and then starts the action and suspense and never looks back.

Depends on the type of film. With Horror films, I tend to enjoy watching them with a big group, because it can be fun and exciting. As for experimental, independent films I like to view them either alone or with my boyfriend.
