No, it's a fact for YOU/HIM in your world. You don't speak for every human on the planet.
The blind guy said that he, himself didn't care about the colour of the skin. He wasn't speaking for anyone else.
Presumably, the grandparents' bodies were used as servants for the benefit of oblivious visitors and potential victims when they were around as a way to keep their secret concealed. I guess they needed a -'reason' as to why these two black people were 'always around' in their home.
.....uhh.....yeah.....ok 🤣🤣
I agree. The whole room itself was cringe. I mean, they could have made it a bit harder for her. A 10 year old could have figured all of that out!
Yeah I agree. Seeing as Hoffman had been a part of it since the first film, and knowing John like he did, there's no way he wouldn't think that one day John would test him too. Jill was John's wife, there's no way Hoffman couldn't have known that John would make sure that she was/stayed protected after his death. Unless of course, Hoffman didn't know that Gordon was also an accomplice. Was that ever specified? I can't remember 🤔. If Hoffman believed that he himself was the last man standing then it makes sense why he killed Jill as there would supposedly be no come-back.
I didn't see the ending coming either, and I was like "whaaaaa....." 😳. The expression on Adam's face (Leigh Whannell) said it all - absolute disbelief, utter confusion, and deep fear. The screams from him that echoed into the credits after John shut the door haunted me for days. A brilliant ending!
This was indeed meant to be a standalone movie but according to Leigh Whannel, so many people wanted to know who this guy was and why he did these things. So they decided to make a sequel and, of course, the fan base grew much bigger.....and the rest is history.
With regards to the colour grading as far as the blood goes, yeah it was pink! It was pink at the cinema and still pink on streaming TV and DVD! It took away so much of the illusion.
You already answered that with your first sentence - it's the trademark of the series.
If you feel it doesn't need the gore plus the fact you looked away during those scenes then this is clearly not the film for you.
This series has been going on for almost 20 years now with a massive fan base (mainly because if the gore); the makers are not going to change the dynamics of it now.
Obviously not or else these movies wouldn't keep being made lol.
Ok, so you don't like it but why do you need validation from strangers on the internet? That's weird.
There was going to be a second season but it was cancelled 😞
Not if they're anything bigger than a football. They are falling at very high speeds, and so they'd crash right through the trees!
They weren't red dots. It was radiation burning her suit, just like it did on her face.
It depends on how big it is and how fast it's going. But we're not talking about the atmosphere. You said 'trees'.
What, you think the bunkers weren't stocked with hygiene products, etc?
"The trees could slow down a meteor". Trees.....meteor. A METEOR. No, just no.
I doubt very much they consider ignorance to be a good thing. But yeah, I never understood that either. Maybe because of his way of life as a human and training within the marines he's already pretty much set in his ways, thus would be hard-pushed to learn another very different way of life, especially one that is.....alien? Or maybe she's saying that humans are too arrogant to be open minded about anything that doesn't fit into their own way of living? Those would be my guesses.
I completely agree! Not only are those great tales but they educate too! The world *coughs* humans *cough* can be so cruel and I think it's very important to keep reiterating the vital balance in nature and perspectives of said nature. We all need to understand we can't just f*ck around and take what we want.
Since this film came out there has been evidence found that there are indeed connections between trees, and between trees and wildlife, etc. I read an article where scientists recorded brain patterns when subjects were standing on the grass with shoes and then barefoot. I can't remember the technical terms but basically the area of the brain that activates when we're stress-free and calm always lit up when the people touched the grass with their feet (there were other parts of the brain that lit up but I can't remember which now), even in those who didn't even care for nature!
But above all, we need to keep teaching every new generation to help, be kind, and respect nature and everything to do with it. After all, we are part of it too! And there is absolutely plenty of resources to go round as long as there's no greed.
Humans suck......I hate humans.
That's crossed my mind too. Being the person that Quaritch was, he wouldn't have deliberately overlooked it. And no way would he allow people to run free if they were against him.
One could argue that Cameron needed someone to break them out of that holding room.....but he already did - Max. Trudy could have been held too and maybe Max could distract the guard away from the area long enough to release them. But let's say that's how it actually played out. It still presents another issue - Max used his keycard on the door, and yet there were no repercussions for him either.
The only time we see Quaritch's anger/disdain/hate towards Trudy (we don't see any towards Max) is when she joins forces with the Navi in the end battle....where she ultimately loses her life.
Thank you. Yeah I realised this a little while after posting. I can't believe I didn't pick up on that! Lol
Oh, yeah, I did read there was another version. That makes sense.
