It deserves a solid 7 on imdb. Great thriller, I was on the edge of my sit.
I've just watched it and it was brilliant. I don't know how I've missed it until now. Great watch in my opinion.
It gets so much better in season 5. It's par to Breaking Bad good.
A 2 for me as well. It wasn't really exciting, but it wasn't dull either. It kept my interest until the end. I gave it an 8 on IMDB.
Yep, I don't understand how this movie was even nominated for Oscars? It's an average movie at best, with a below average plot that has been done so many times already. The only good thing from this movie was Tom Hank's performance, but the movie itself, left a lot to desire.
I don't know, but it can't be an oscar worthy movie...
It's a PG 13 movie, which could be the reason why. However the movie is quite heavy. They should've made it an R rated movie.
I actually didn't like faking accents. It's stupid and ruins the movie. Those Germans couldn't speak much English during those times. They should've used normal English (American) accent as the most actors are from Hollywood that make a movie about Nazi Germans. Or they should follow Mel Gibson exampele in making movies about diffrenet regions. He uses the original language, it is way more authentic.
It's OK movie, but being the best movie in a long time, I don't think so. It could've been much better with some changes though.
It's not overrated. It didn't win any oscars. Yes, it is too long, but very watchable and interesting especially in the second half. The climax was good as well. The best movie of all time? No. Is it a great movie? Yes.
How can you judge a movie by watching only half of it. Some movies worth watching only for the last scene which is the climax. I get you. I get bored most of the time during a movie, but I often get rewarded by watching until the end.
I gave it a 9/10 as well due to the last shot that summed up the movie so well.
Very confusing ending leaving you with no answers. I understand that there are movies with the open endings, but this should've delivered more. The ending didn't rise to the viewers expectations.
This movie is more of a comedy than a horror. It doesn't have horror elements in it. Just stupid zombies.
Oh, come on it's just a link. I thought the movie was interesting but its execution was poor. It tried to be thought provoking, but it was just a mess. Nevertheless, it was a feel good movie experience by its end.
Both movies are quite boring, but 1917 was less boring.
I hated and loved this movie at the same time. That's how a good movie should be to arise emotions. Overall I thought the movie was depressing. It's a powerful drama. Not for everyone. That's why conflicting comments.
You have to watch it until the end. I agree that it is boring and annoying at the beginning. But we cannot judge about a movie until we watch it completely.
My understanding was that they were trapped in the cave after the explosion, not killed.
I haven't seen the 1989 one but I was pleasently surprised with this one. It was disturbing and quite scary. Not many horror movies can scare you that much.
