That's more accurate than you think. Little House was written by Laura Ingalls Wilder and her story is told through the eyes of Laura. The Man in the Moon was written by Jenny Wingfeld and this is her childhood story. She is Dani. I don't think the story intended to convey that Court's mother was at all in love with Dani's father. I agree, but it wasn't told in a very compelling way. Part of it is that Dani was an inexperienced, tomboyish 14. I know kids from my childhood who became doctors, and growing up they seemed less likely than Greg Brady to become one. But I agree that it was rather contrived for Greg to end up being one. It's now out. It's amazing how many visual details jump out at you that you never noticed on DVD. Aside from the improved resolution, it's rather bare bones although I enjoyed reading the sleeve notes. After reading the blog entry below, I had no interest in checking it out.
