Genuinely need the list, to genuinely answer... That's why I asked for it. i don't want to produce it, so no one can call me biased.
No, I didn't say they are ignoring any movie. I said they are ignoring the reasons (or the main reason) these particular movies failed. 'things those (failed) blockbuster have in common and that very probably made them fail), those are my words.

Almost all the "safe" blockbusters failed at the BO this year.

Well, it will be a great idea to list the failed 'safe' blockbusters. With that list we would see there are at least two very obvious things those blockbuster have in common and that very probably made them fail and that (at least) one of them people don't want to talk about or just ignore it or just play dumb about it. But it is there. I hope someone comes with the list, an honest list, and not some rigged list.
But, but... They said the movie was made for ONLY $200m after tax cut and accounting witchcraft, so with 240M it will make money for Disney, it will make PROFIT so the movie is a BIG HIT. Take that incels an bigots and patriarchs and racists and people who breath. Take that! Ha, the movie is a success 240m>200, ha, a success for the House and the Mouse and a thorn for you bigots.
End of Sarcasm Mode***
Ouch!
Don't know. Will that make her girlfriend/fiancee Valkyrie a princess too?
Oh wait, you didn't know the director pushed this in the movie. These two are dating.
Two more Disney princess for the roster, people.
Thank you Disney/Marvel for giving us the best example to be used for decades as a lesson of:
G. W. - G. B.
Nice job!
First, twilight is a movie from 2008, so you need to adjust for 2023. But, anyways, the difference in cost is because they are different kind of movies. One needed lots of Special Effects, CGI and post production. This has nothing to do with the target audience. Also, it's not our fault that Disney loves to inflate their budgets. Birds of pray has a budget of 82m, the double of your examples, and it's still a movie made for women. The thing is budgets and cost have nothing to do with the target audience of the movie.
Knowing these dumbos, they will make a case arguing that movies like Blood Sport, Rambo III or John Wick are targeted to girls. The reality is that most movies are made for families or a larger appeal. However, there is no denying many movies are targeted mainly to one particular group. Again, it doesn't mean other groups cannot be interested, but trying to deny this fact is hypocrite and in bad faith.
Do you think these morons will deny the fact that Blockbusters like Twilight and Fifty Shades are made for girls? Actually, given their level of delusion and self lying (with the classic, you don't know nothing i tell you, I have nothing to do with you, so i leave - just like a coward), I would say they will play dumb (maybe not playing at all) and deny it anyways.

Obnoxious, (fat) ugly women

This should be included in the first line of the first paragraph of the first post (OP). These words seemed oddly missing in it once I read it the first time.
I thought it was the other way around.
Or, maybe it really doesn't matter, since it's the same crap...

So a movie with three male leads, directed by a man with a male villain is targeted at men?

Duh! Of course it is. Do I have to repeat. The movie is targeted to men. Unless the 3 leads are DiCaprio, Pitt and Hemsworth and the Villain is Cavill. Sorry, but your question is so obvious it answered itself. Tell, how many romantic comedies (chick flicks, yes, chick) are there(and don't tell me romantic comedies are targeted to males mainly) which have three male leads and a male villain? And when I say 3 males leads I mean there is NO female leads, just three men. And if you can even find a some, can you tell us the box office result of such movies compared with the ones with female leads included.
Of course if we have such a movie (romantic comedy, three male leads, male villain and no lead woman), it will be said to be targeted to gays, not men, probably. But one thing is sure, people won't say it was targeted to women.

then on top of that imagine they took his stories and started race and gender swapping everyone. then on top of that imagine they told him he isn't writing enough books about strong black females. That he's writing too much about white males and that he should start

I will tell you what will happen. He will be on every single interview, night time show and magazine screaming how good this idea is, that they should swap everything and everyone, gender and races. All this while privately eating his liver in frustration and anger, since he will be another victim of the hijacking of SJW and woke culture, where you have to comply or they will finish you one way or another (emotionally, economically, physically).

No movie that cost $275m to make is targeted at one demographic.

Ha, ha, ha... That's what Disney believed and look what happened. If they really believed a movie with three female leads (a teenage girl, a black woman and a white woman), the villain is also female, there's lots of kittens and a planet where everyone sings and dances is targeting men and young boys, they are beyond delusional. They are dumb, so dumb to lose millions and millions for this stupid mistake.

does that scream men?

Ha, ha, ha... you are more than right. And this only have one real answer that I won't utter in order to keep things civil here (No, Sha'mendwHunter, the answer is not for you, but for the 'men' this movie scream for)
Exactly
Ouch, logic! This people are programed to not understand it. It all emotions and victimization in order to try to win arguments. So, it is the fault of men that a movie directed to women, and which women just ditched, bombed. Really?
I asked my daughter who is a die hard Marvel Fan, just like me, if she wanted to go to the movies to caught it with me. She saw me with this face of pity and nuisance, laughed at me and asked if I was crazy...
So, I went to my brother's house where he had a somewhat bad pyrated version. After near half of the movie I excused myself and drove home. Better things to do.
Actually eating the popcorn while watching this crap bomb and burn is way more fun than anything marvel has put in recent years (sans Guardians and a few less woke Disney + shows). Ha, ha, ha... I laugh a those morons who say I or someone else is not a real Marvel fan, just because we don't want to eat the crap and woke sandwich they are currently serving.
