That makes perfect sense. Thanks! As a side note, I just watched a new Australian time travel movie last set in my home town called Time Addicts. It was quite amusing with some interesting twists! The humour is not for everyone but being Aussie I connected with it. I'm in my mid-40s now and grew up in the '80s aware that my parents loved Hill Street Blues. I started watching it a few years ago to see what my parents saw in it and really fell in love with it. What a wonderful ensemble show it is with realistic, complex, interwoven characters and stories. Sikking was a great part of it and provided so many hilarious scenes in a seemingly dramatic environment. Also sad to learn of his passing yesterday. His Lt. Hunter character is a highlight of Hill Street Blues and I also knew him as Captain Styles of the USS Excelsior in Star Trek III where he was very much the same character. RIP. I believe this concern stands out a little when watching 1 and 2 back-to-back like I just did, in prep to watch 4, but I'm willing to accept it as part of the ongoing story because the rallying around Bogamil being shot by them all is just so touching. It does feel weird seeing Foley kinda cuddling his daughter and stuff like he's an 'uncle' / close friend of the family now, considering their different social and professional levels. But in the end a good solid sequel. Though, I feel the male villain at the end had a pretty lacklustre end, but then it was really all about the tall blonde girl who gets it right after. The studio is glad there was! $245m from a $60m budget in this day and age of big-budget flops is a good day. Millions of parents, including me, were also grateful. Something new for the kids to see, which us parents are also familiar with. But I also thought of some close friends who are cat lovers... they loved this movie too. Lots of cat-specific stuff in it. (Being a dog-lover myself, Odie was the more interesting character.) It seems to be a thing, see this stock 1980s photo of a police station: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/6UAAAOSwYEFhQ717/s-l1200.webp I've wondered about these points also. I'm guessing Foley had not intended for things to progress to the point they were driving the truck away. How he was going to even apprehend them both when he seemed to be on his own, and without permission to use the cigarettes (gained from a prior bust), it doesn't make a lot of sense. But still a fantastic movie! Once the truck starts smashing into stuff you just don't care! Quite a light comedy, fine for kids too. Any kids (and especially girls) who are into space will find it interesting. I doubt it. They'd be on their phones within 5 mins and be waiting for it to finish they can go back to their rooms and be alone. No, not good enough to give up a nice day outside to sit in front of the screen for an hour and a half watching it. I know, I got tired of the shaky cam trend very soon after it started. Great tagline! Yeah, I own a number of Charles Band's movies. One of the first movies I ever saw as a kid in a cinema was Metalstorm. Always been a fave of mine. Love the period synth music too. Tim Thomerson is also in Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn, another low-budget sci-fi from the 1980s, this time 1983. Haha yeah, everyone seems to be so well groomed in different styles. Him, Charlie Sheen and Keith David need to make Men at Work 2. That's a fantastic idea. Hope it happens. I tend to think so. The 4K shelf at my local entertainment store, which is a big well-established national franchise, hardly ever changes and there's never anyone else looking at it whenever I'm there. Titles which I've already purchased in the past and are still 'available' from them on 4K are not being restocked and some of the titles have been poor quality in my opinion. For example, Terminator 2 was the short theatrical edition only (no SE option) and didn't look very good and Star Trek II was so dull in colour tone with such dull red uniforms. Movies I've really wanted in 4K are not forthcoming and Aliens took sooo long to get there, but it has been a disappointing result overall. Given T2 was offered in theatrical form after the SE form became so commonplace on prior formats, I think the studio is going to release it again in the future with the SE form, just to keep revenue from 4K happening. And this may be the way things will go for a while with big films - just re-releasing them. The price of the players is also not coming down, still hundreds of dollars. We'll see... Sure is! I quite enjoyed it. Same here. And the OP's idea that Ben would put the Rebellion's fate at such a risk is just crazy! Not Vader for me, but the stormtroopers yes. When I was very little in the early 1980s and discovering Star Wars I remember thinking the white ones must be robots because they all looked the same and had no visible human skin. But then Han and Luke stole their uniforms and I realised there are humans inside.
