That was Marlene Dietrich.
The season one DVD has the original music. From season two onwards most of it is replaced, though :/
My recommendation is to check torrent sites. I’ve been able to get a few episodes with original music that way, but I wish there was a way to get a complete collection.
I think he was upset because she led him on about wanting a family and never told him a). that she didn’t want one and b). why she didn’t want one.
But I was thinking the same thing about her getting too old to have a baby!
I feel like Spike was never given a chance. They spend several seasons redeeming him and building him up to be this romantic partner for Buffy and then squash it with his rape attempt. What was the point? That bothered me because, as much as I love Angel, he left and was no longer there for her and Buffy and Spike had such great chemistry!
Right? Strange for such a big movie. I wonder if there are some rights issues making it unavailable.
I ended up buying a pretty cheap copy on eBay, but it’s good to know it’s on YouTube!
Yeah, Penelope was a selfish brat.
In the first half of the series I thought it was Penelope, but then I abandoned that idea because Penelope was so whiny and distracted. I thought it had to be someone older. Turns out so was right all along.
I beg to differ. I think fiction writes its own rules, and if you disagree with how the fictional universe is set up, then don’t watch it. Bridgerton never claims to be historically accurate. The costumes, the music—everything is total fantasy!
And Wonder Woman is set during World War I which, though a real event, was not ended by a sexy superhero as the film presents.
What?! No way! At the very least “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” is so memorable it’s now a holiday standard. I personally love “The Boy Next Door” too.
A little late to the party, but I wanted to offer my condolences. She was so cute and apparently lived a very successful life! May she Rest In Peace.
Do you guys think that with the advent of streaming that ‘Molly’ has a better chance of being released?
Completely agreed. I finally got to see this film a couple of years back when she was star of the month in TCM and I just loved it! Lana was so breathtaking.
Bewitched.
Yeah, it does. Too bad it isn't. On paper, it's a masterpiece. On screen, it's dull as a broken pencil. So disappointed.
I would say the 1928 film qualifies as a "horror, western." Also, the synopsis sound similar:
"A supernatural thriller set in the Western frontier of the late 1800's, The Wind stars Caitlin Gerard (INSIDIOUS: THE LAST KEY) as a plains-woman driven mad by the harshness and isolation of the untamed land." -- (2018)
The 1928 film is about a young girl who is blown unfavorable directions in life eventually landing her out west where she is driven mad by isolating country life and the powerful wind.
I just saw it. What a mess of a movie. No plot. No rules. The audience has no idea how Slender Man's powers (or whatever) work. It wasn't even fun bad. Just disappointing all around.
What makes you think that Adlen's character thinks she is poor? I think it is certainly established within the series that she has money from being a teen television star (or something along those lines). The only scene where money seems an issue is when she is telling off Max for having a $500 Lyft bill, which seemed more about teaching her daughter good sense.
That was amazing.
Wow, that's nuts!! Looks like they were together until Sid's death in 2005. He was 32 years her senior.
