Hello! Hope we get a lot of people here. The marathon is always better with a crowd.
Hi everyone!!
Slightly sinister episode, good companion to "what you need".
I don't see a thread for the SyFy marathon?
It goes through the 1st from what I see.
Luckily there were maybe 60 people in the audience.
Print was pretty good. not super hd, but then again this show was made for television 60 years ago.
Six episodes, all solid choices but not necessarily what I'd choose myself, plus a mini feature about Serling. Over three hours of sitting - my only real complaint is I could have used an intermission. I was itching to get up by the end despite my love for TZ.
I feel that way about The Trade-Ins. Makes me teary every time, that sweet husband in pain.
Some didn't work so well. I like Frisby though, and Dingle. The latter being more semi-comedic I guess. Sure there are more not coming to my head. I do think the more dramatic ones worked best as a whole though.
Just curious, in light of newer evidence, do you still feel this way?
Good morning, sad to see the marathon end.
That would be a great one to study, as the blocking/framing/setup is so crucial to a successful reveal. Sounds like you teach a fun and still educational class.
the skier mannequin is just creepy...
Great episode! My daughter loves this one too.
Yum!
With all the talk of people feeling ill, I decided to make a new soup recipe: Basque Garlic Soup. Fabulous and a good warm way to celebrate staying inside for a marathon.
Definitely a good one. A message that still resonates, too.
No, no short films except the first silent film "Great Train Robbery". It was a History of Film class, so less specialized. A Noir or Screwball semester would both be fun to teach.
But really crazy like a fox. His statements turned out to be prophetic!
Yay! Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up is on now! One of my favorites and it's often on at a time where I miss it. Not today.
It works brilliantly like a one-act play all in one set. Love it!
Joan was great in that.
Sorry to hear you're unwell. A nice long marathon may help!
I TA'ed for a film class too! Never did short films though. Fun.
Very Twilight Zone...
