Oh shut up. Mexicans aren’t allowed to see themselves represented in films? Have you noticed that the world isn’t all White? Go watch reruns of the Brady Bunch or something. Little Maria or Jose isn’t always gonna relate to little Peggy Sue. You can love your culture and appreciate others. You damn bigot. All the men in the show were rapists? I must have missed all of that...When did Hannah’s dad, Clay’s dad, Alex’s dad, Tyler’s dad, Clay, Alex, Ryan, Justin, Tyler, and Tony rape anyone? You being a man doesn’t make you part of the problem. You being annoyed at women sharing sexual assault stories, is what makes you part of the problem. Sorry it makes you uncomfortable to hear that a large portion of women have been sexually assaulted or raped at least once in their lifetime. But instead of focusing your anger on the assailants, you’ll get mad at women for simply talking about it. Don’t know if you’ve noticed, but this show is about a suicide relating to a rape that was only one of many going on in that school. The #metoo in court was not out of place at all. Let me make this clear: WHEN A WOMAN TALKS ABOUT RAPE, SHE ISNT ATTACKING MEN. Why does every movie involving a rape of a woman always result in comment sections of hurt men who feel like it was “male-bashing”? Boohoo. You expect a modern tv show not to touch on current subjects our society is zoning in on? Never seen so much bitterness over people sharing their stories of sexual assault rather than the sexual assault itself. You’re part of the problem. Probably not it but "Bunny Lake is Missing" ? Did you watch this on HBO or use the app? I dont know how the viewing experience differences between the two. I used the app, and it was quite clear that Joel takes the blame for killing Olivia simply because he felt all the clues pointed to him and he had a history of passing out drunk and waking up, not remembering the events before. So he believes he killed Olivia in another drunken episode. While he is taking the fall for this crime, Petra is at O’Connor’s home confronting Tom with the real evidence against Michael. When Michael arrives to deal with Petra’s blackmail for her silence in return for Michael’s Red Room, he reveals that Joel has confessed to the murder. I think at that point Petra has chalked this all up to another loss and moves on with her life. And Joel takes Eric’s place in prison and Michael continues to go free with yet another man in jail for his crime. Im sure Petra has no intention on helping Joel because she would not want her blackmail with O’Connor to be revealed. I feel so bad for Joel. He literally did nothing wrong and really was a good guy. That was too lucky of a guess. I wonder if he already had inside info? Not it ): I was really hoping this was the one, but it is not. I even watched all the clips available on youtube and nothing really rung a bell. The tone and mood is so very similar though! Ive searched “love triangle” and “comedy” as keyword searches in imdb and still have not found the movie. I havent given up though. The one detail i am absolutely certain of is the month or season being shown before almost every scene the two guys try to fight over the woman. So the movie takes course within at least a year or several months He literally had no reason to leave him there. If he was gonna run, why not quickly scoop up the child and take him to safety? Just doesnt make sense to me at all. That child needlessly suffered longered than he shouldnt have to begin with Good news! This is all I cared about and glad that the baby made it out alive. He truly suffered the worse. Poor lil guy Feminist? Lol Idiot I didnt even catch this. Wow that makes this scene even more grim Hey, Just watched a Dolly Parton movie with my mother over the holidays :) Love the gal, but theres no way she was the love interest in the movie Im thinking of. But ill check anyways cuz at this point ill chase any lead cuz you never know Nope /: Gosh its crazy how similar all these movies sound to my muddy plot Ive given you all to work with. Unfortunately, that movie isnt it. I had actually spent the day watching Keeping the Faith because I thought for sure it was the movie, but it wasnt. As for the other suggestions...no dice. Gosh I wish I really could. I even at one point thought Jack Nicholson might have been one of the guys, but Im pretty sure it isnt. I think at least one actor is pretty popular. But I dont know how true that is..I wouldnt want to confuse my memory even more by filling in gaps Im not sure of. Im 100% certain it was a movie. It was playing too long for it to be a show. No. But my all time favorite rom-com! Wow i had no idea! Thanks! Doesnt seem to have as much activity as it does on this board but i posted on there anyway to see if i get a response. :)
