Oh ok, I forgot that part. Must have been tricky to make off with the loot. True. And it seems like the driver takes no responsibility once he parks. Indeed. The coerced version is rape. But my contention is that not all sex work is coerced, just like not all diamond mining or shoe manufacturing jobs are. That's a nice “oner”, but that one does unfold in real time. This needs to get more attention. The movie starts in daylight, ends in daylight, with night scenes in between. But it's only two hours long, and the setting is not above the Arctic Circle. That math does not add up to “continuous”, not even in simulated form. Maybe if we saw some sign of decency and honor earlier. Sure, but that's not cold enough to prevent rot and putrefaction. You are being serious? There are a lot of problems with this movie, but the quality of the needle drops is not among them. That makes more sense than the actual ending. Like, the mean girl she tried to stab likes her now?? I disagree with you, but also with people who label your viewpoint as left wing. You are expressing Victorian morality; it is progressives who invented the nonjudgemental term “sex worker”. Like many other kinds of labor, it can be coerced, or it can be chosen freely because someone prefers to earn money that way. It depends on circumstances, context. Cold in the summer? Oh right, I didn't even think of that attempt at an explanation. But also, how did she keep getting customers? Good analysis. Really fits this movie and “Baby Driver” in particular. It's tawdry, pulpy melodrama, wrapped up in a glossy package. There's nothing wrong with the cinematography, soundtrack, or production design. Even the performances are fine given what they had to work with. But that screenplay? Woof. Unfortunately it wasn't clear how dumb the movie was until I was 70% of the way through, so I just stuck it out to the end. I should obviously learn my lesson not to watch Edgar Wright movies, though. I really enjoyed his TV show "Spaced" way back in the day, but since then it has been mostly mediocre to bad, although I did like "Shaun of the Dead" pretty well. But that was almost as long ago as "Spaced", so it would appear he had something 20 or 25 years ago that he has lost. You liked the LAST third? Even people who love the movie usually admit that's the weak link. I agree, that was very strange and rushed. Yup. I didn’t find it realistic either, especially so quickly after the fight. Yes, I’m surprised to see everyone arguing that algebra is in any certain grade. Both when I went to school and when my kids did, there were kids of different ages in that class depending on how advanced their level of math skill was for their age.
