Yes, they are one as is repeatedly stated during the movie.
The nano fiber was extremely strong so they could make very fine threads of that material. The boat was moving into the fibers, which had multiple layers so that no one could survive. The threads were extremely strong and very thin.

Not everyone sees a show when it is aired. It would be ridiculous to stay off the boards until you do. Sometimes you just want to know what other people think of it without getting spoilers. It's just common decency to warn people.

I can go to message boards when people observe the unspoken rule of putting the word SPOILER in the title, so that I can choose to click on it or not. Most people do it, but there are people like you who just ruin it for everybody else.
And I'll decide for myself if I find a show worth watching or not.

I couldn't finish the first episode. There is nothing funny about it whatsoever. Why does this even exist?
