Too few IMDb ratings to matter. Seems to be modified for current times. The book is a satire of utopian cults, not relevant today.

As many 40 ratings as positive ratings from critics.

Communism was considered utopian in the 30s. Today sci fi is largely distopian, as is Green and Woke religion. We should be satarizing them.

the way (and when) the original was written, yes, doesn't fit well today. BUT, the original satire of where it could end up is still ongoing. I like the 1998 version that re-fit it to the times: hedonism, selfishness, all our drugs addictions... still SADLY relevant today
