is this worth watching?

Well through 7 episodes for me, I'd say if you're someone who wants answers then you're going to have to sit through a lot of boring talk and stupid decision making just to probably not get many answers. The question is by the time we get them will we even care anymore? It's not a bad show but it can be a little boring or frustrating at times.

this doesn't sound good. thanks.

I think it's a terrific premise, one of the more imaginative. There is some tedious exposition, sure, but I don't recall too many stupid decisions. I mean it's understandable that people suddenly thrust into hitherto unimaginable situations fraught with danger might choices that are difficult to understand while watching from the comfort of one's home.

My quarrel—& this might be a bit of a spoiler—is that no aspect of their situation is explained by the end of season one. That's unusual. E.g., in the SK drama Hellhound we learn several key facts about the "angels" & their denunciations before the season finale. Though the central mystery remains of course.

From's finale suggests that the writers have created an intriguing premise, but don't know how to resolve it, how to explain what has happened & why in a way that's satisfying to the viewer. We'll have to see.

I would agree. Just finished the season, surprised there wasn't at least some real hint as to what's behind the world, the creatures, etc.

Yes, it's a great premise. I'm not really offput by the human drama, since all show's will have that. If anything, I'm wondering about the history, or things like "did they try to kill or trap one of the creatures", etc.

reply

Yeah, that's one point. I get that the creatures try to use persuasion & it's best not to have too much interaction with them, even while safe behind the symbol. But no one's thought to ask what gives with you all? Or with this town?

Its very well shot. Cinematography is good. And interesting premise.

But is has the same problem that most od the modern shows has - too much boring talks about nothing to fill the time. Best to watch it is by using FastForward button every time boring talks starts. Then its much more faster.

i thought so. thanks.

I don't think so, but I am watching it. I could let it go at any time.
It is so stupid and ridiculous I have a hard time of thinking or anything
as lame and moronic as this series.

Family driving on vacation take a wrong turn and ends up in horror-ville.
Monsters come out and kill them at night, and strange apparitions
spook them residents who all came from different places.
It's ridiculous.

Did you watch it or not?
