Yes, probably.
However, we need to be realistic.
People watch movies, series, even songs, games, books, to fantasize and get immersed in the experience.
If the experience is so focused on a specific group or lifestyle, it will cater only to a niche.
It's more likely that straight people will want to follow the story of a straight couple than to follow the story of a couple of men. It's just how it works.

I agree. But why is that though? I can enjoy a story of a man and woman couple. Are straight people just blinded by prejudice?

Speaking for myself - I wouldn't watch, specifically, a TV show or film purely about any relationship - much less gay/lesbian ones, although if it's a component of a show I like that I'm watching for another reason, if it's done well, I would watch it and it can add to it. My preference, being straight, is male/female in those circumstances - although I have no problem with LGBT people as part of a larger ensemble cast and their plotlines having presence.
But I wouldn't want to watch Heartstopper or Young Royals. Although I wouldn't watch Normal People either.

I dunno. I don't need to put myself in the character's shoes to be entertained by the dynamics of a relationship.
I agree, I don't really like love stories.
But you said "much less gay/lesbian ones". I'm wondering why straights feel that way?

Because it's about relating to it?
For instance, I watched the K-drama Happiness. It's half a romance story, but also half a zombie/pandemic show. The romance works well. Though I would not watch it if it was just a romance story. If the romance was gay, rather than straight, I'd still watch it although that side of the plot wouldn't engross me so much.
Romance is great as a supportive part of a setting, rather than the main.
