Is this normal pricing??

I don't subscribe to internet channels and I don't do the pay-per-view thing so I don't actively seek out how much it costs to rent/watch a movie streaming. But sometimes when looking up a movie there will be a short list of streaming services and how much it costs to watch the movie. When that happens, the normal pricing range that I see is usually about $2.99-$5.99. So is the price for this particular movie normal for a new offering, or are they just desperately grasping at straws in order to try to recoup their budget??

Not unusual for movies recently in cinema. Elvis and The Batman started at $19.95, then went down.

Oh, ok. So it's not unusual then. Thanks.
I just find it hilarious that nobody went to the movies to pay $10 to see this and they really think that people are going to pay $20 to see it instead?? πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Yahoo had an "article" a few days back that suggested people stream the movie to determine if the box office reaction was fair.

What a sad manipulation tactic. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
