shareYou know, I did not notice that. But, now that you mention it, she does. Which is a compliment to both of them. I enjoyed the series. I thought it was well done on many levels. SPOILER ALERT I HAVE A QUESTION:
So, in the end, the detective planted evidence to be found later so Katz would take the fall for the shooting of Mike Tripp. If that was the case, what would have been Katz's motive for offing the neighbor?

Good question and I don't have an answer. My guess is that it all got lumped into his reasons for working with the CEO guy in the first place: money for his daughter's medical bills. They said he denied the Tripp murder but the DA probably didn't care since he was a (somewhat) crazy cop and they had the goods on him for Jennifer Saunders.
