Question about Madison, Cassie, Nina, etc. (spoilers)

Was Cassie also a victim of rape? I thought she was but as the movie went on it seemed to be all about her friend Nina. I can't fully recall the conversation she had with Madison or other people. Maybe it was just Nina that was raped and Cassie was making sure people didn't forget what happened to her or whatever.

That night she drugged Madison and had that one guy take care of her. Did she feel some regret over it and lie to say nothing was done to her? It seems she was likely telling the truth or maybe that guy could've done whatever with her and maybe no one knows actually what went on.

Let me know what you think.

I didn’t see any indication that Cassie was also raped. She just wanted justice for the friend she loved who was not only raped but blamed for it as well, and committed suicide because of it. Also, she felt guilty about not having been there to protect her friend.

As for Madison, I am not 100% sure. I thought at first that Cassie’s plan was to give Madison a taste of her own medicine, but it makes more sense that she wouldn’t actually plan for another woman to be raped, even one whose guts she hated.

The event in question -- Cassie was not there so she couldn't have been a victim that night. Cassie remarked to Nina's mother she wished she'd have gone with her and maybe she could have taken her home that night.

Cassie's guilt likely was what drove her to drop out and take care of Nina. That event scarred Nina to the point of ending her own life, and threw Cassie's life, by extension, into a 180 - she's studying a profession that requires high intelligence to succeed in, and she was top of her class: Then Nina died, after Cassie had already given up one dream....she's working at a coffee shop - probably as 180 as you could get from being a doctor/surgeon.

But I don't feel Cassie was raped and never got that out of the story - but she was gonna make damned sure someone paid for the rape that destroyed Nina's life in the real sense, and Cassie's in the figurative sense.
