Trumps effin Propaganda

Why did steve carrell sign on this to eff him

reply

Anti-Trump, you mean.

reply

Yeah, it's hardcore anti-Trump.

reply

Corporate media have proven themselves time and again as propaganda machines and almost nothing else.

reply

Leftist propaganda infects everything, beginning with cartoons for pre-kindergarteners. Hollywood is at or near the top of the steaming pile.

reply

Oh don't be silly. What propaganda? Guns are dangerous? People should be nice to each other? People should pay their fair share? Heal the sick? Comfort the dying? Live a life of no fear?

Also, this show is hardly ant-Trump, it just makes fun of some of the things he actually does. It's light hearted. My mom makes fun of me more aggressively than this show for things that I do.

reply

Sounds like the Bible tbh.

reply

"People should pay their fair share?"

What's my "fair share"? Am I obliged to support bums, illegal aliens, and pay off other people's student loans? The fact is, I take care of myself and my loved ones, which is my only moral responsibility. Beyond that, I don't have a "fair share". Pay for yourself.

reply

Did you mean to reply to me or the other guy?

reply

I love all the MAGAt tears.

reply

SPelLiNq?

reply

You can call it anti-China propaganda too. But who cares, it is for entertainment, as long as it is within some acceptable limit.

reply

This is not hard core anti Trump. I've seen tons of it everywhere and this ain't it. Sorry.

It hits him some but not a lot. The show also takes quite a few jabs at SJWs. The lowest jab was taken at the southern guy who is the general's daughter's new BF.

Overall this show was pretty low on hate all the way around. Surprised me, actually.
This could possibly mean that season 2 will be a hate fest? or continue this trend.

Wait and see.

reply

The politics on this show go both ways. The president gets a lion's share because he's an old demented fool but there is an AOC analog in the Congressional hearing scene that gets set straight. It does a pretty good job showing the line between political posturing and the real world.
