Tom Cruise's youthful appearance is his biggest mask

Good clothes. Best salon hair dye money can buy. Stays fit. Younger women at his side.

But despite it all, he actually looked like a 60 year old I know at work who DOESN'T do those things. The guy I know has the same look in his eyes. The look of someone who is 60!

Eyes and mouth. Something about it. Tom has the same look. Actually captured in this photo:

I felt like the action scenes was where he looked his oldest. Hand to hand combat on top of trains or parachute escapes doesn't look right on a guy his age. My two cents.

Tom should write himself out of this series. Simon Pegg too. Let's have a team under 50 rescue the world.

reply

Nah, they should have ended with Fallout. I lost interest with this 3 hour snooze fest of mindless chases. Not going to pay to watch part 2, that's for sure.

reply

It started good but just basically became a movie of pickpocketing keys/lighters and masks, both digital and physical, and yeah, it got boring as a result.

reply

Couldn’t disagree more. He prob looks younger than you. It’s the movies. Not American gladiator. If he can continue to make incredible action flicks and successfully do his own stunts I’m all for it. Mad respect for the work he has done and continues to do. Same goes for Keanu.

reply

Not saying he doesn't keep himself fit but for example Stallone looked much better in his 60 even during action scenes. Hard to say what to do about it though...

reply

Nothing you can do. Stallone has a different body type bigger and is more muscular. So he was able to get away with it longer. But there is a reason Stallone stopped taking off his shirt in films now. The last good physique he had was in Bullet to the Head. Now his skin is extremely Crepey so he doesn't do it anymore.

reply

Stallone is a little taller, but his physique is simply what he's worked on and Cruise can do the same. In BTTH he was 66. So Tom has still time...

reply

He would have to pack on about 20 pounds. You could not see Stallone's neck sage at 66 as much as Toms right now because Tom is simply thinner.

reply

Stallone has great skin for an Italian. They normally love to rock that tan and end up looking leathery. He didn't seem to be into sun tanning until he was in his 30s for the Rambo movies so maybe that served him well.

reply

EVERYONE starts to look leathery by their 60's. Some more than other but no one is gonna have a 30 year old jawline at 60.

reply

Personally I think Tom Cruise looks much better than Stallone did, not that Stallone looked bad. Just because he isn't as buff or big doesn't mean anything, they have different body types.

reply

To me Cruise actually looks like he doesn't jog much, even though he runs a lot in his movies. Stallone maintained very low fat and thin waist for a long time (until he decided to put on more muscle).

reply

Thin waist? Don't know about that.

Tom Cruise clearly exercises regularly, not sure what kind. Even if it isn't jogging, I'm sure it's something similar to that.

reply

I thought he very much looked old in this movie. Which is sad. It means I'm old!

reply

What is sad about it??? We all knew it was coming... 😂

reply

Dude STFU...he's 61. He looks great for 61. The neck is the biggest telltale sign for anyone in their 40's and over....there comes a point when there's not a damn thing anyone can to prevent it. Slow it down...maybe...but that's it..
