too long of a film and bad justified ending

I was looking for a Clint Eastwood scene from Unforgiven ending with Kevin Cosnter to storm through that hillbillys land with help with the Native who portrayed nothing or purpose in this film. What a waste.

Agree 100%. The movie presents Costner’s character as some badass retired Sheriff well respected in other law enforcement agencies far from his home and years after his retirement. In subsequent scenes, he’s constantly getting various weapons taken from his hands by multiple unarmed people. You’re expecting him to be the vengeful hero considering his past credits and instead, all he does is block bullets. Then, his wife leaves his body to burn with her enemies despite the fact that he earlier showed her how important his family’s burial plot was to him. I can’t come away with any feeling other than complete disdain for his wife.

Add complete disdain for this trash of a movie.

Agreed with all of the above. I don't think the film was very convincing with the twists and turns that it sought to inject into the narrative. The motel invasion sequence was laughable. And indeed, the Native was a waste of a character
