It lacked substance. The build up to Magne becoming arrogant was meh and that was just about the only arc. The lackluster CGI for "O" was disturbing. It feels like a tacked-on season and I stopped watching about mid episode 5 (after they agreed to fight somewhere but before the fight (I assume there was one)) I read that it all ends with it having been a dream by schizo Magne so that's another bullet averted.

Season 2 finale was a masterpiece in comparison and as good a finale as any.

I finished it today and enjoyed it. The ending was clever, and a great way to give audiences the best of all possible finishes. And the final credits were wonderful. All in all, this show has been one of my favorite things on TV these past few years, and I'm sorry the show has ended.
