“Previously owed”...? I thought Saul paid the vacuum guy in advance for Jesse’s pickup that he ended up walking away from....

I was wrong. I just watched “Confessions” and Saul bagged up Jesse’s cash for him before sending him to the pickup spot. He was supposed to give it to the guy when he got in the van.

No he wasn’t. Jesse had the cash in the duffle bag when he walked off down the road.

It makes more sense that the guy would have taken delivery of the money before the pick-up doesn't it? After all if they got stopped or in an accident or something why would he want to risk his cash, or be alone in a car with a known criminal who might just kill him for the money?

Yeah the money that Saul gave Jesse is the money Hank used to make the fake photo of Walt's money.

Yeah ... I thought that too, but I let it slip by, since Jessie accepted it. If it was not true, Jessie would have not dealt with the guy any more.

Must have been shot shortly before Robert Forster's death ... he was so natural in those scenes.
