shareI'm in. The first one was a fun turn off the brain popcorn flick - exactly what it needed to be. I won't see it in the theater, but certainly will rent it or catch it when it's free on streaming.

This is the kind of movie that tends to do well globally. It's a simple story. People from any culture can appreciate the visual effects and a story about a giant shark on a rampage.
I'd be surprised if it didn't do better than the first movie.
