This isn't a controversy. It's people who see "Cuties" for the child erotica it is, and those who don't. The topic is easy to explain: Most lefties are pedos. And thats why they defend a movie with scenes of cp into it. And then this extremely dumb excusion "But this movie shows how ugly cp is!" .... by forcing children into cp! Havent thought that pedos are also really dumb humans.

This film is not child erotica. If you find it erotic, you are the one with the problem. What other films do you think are child erotica? There are films with naked children in them. Do you consider all of them to be child erotica? Please provide a list of films that are child erotica so we know which to avoid.

I mean, there is a blindingly glaring bias with regards to the media's coverage of it, and yes, I think it's precisely as you say - it was made by a black woman from a Muslim background, meaning, regardless of what it might possibly say or show, they would most likely defend it to death.

That said.

One of the things that most annoy me about said media is their instant readiness in presuming to know the motivations and thought processes of the people who disagree with them (which of course are always, without exception, the most cartoonishly *evil* imaginable), which I can only assume comes from being under the impression they can, somehow, actually read minds; so I'm not going to do the same.

Unlike them, I'm willing to apply the bare minimum of charitable interpretation towards Ms. Doucouré and her film, and assume her stated motivation, that of bringing attention to a problem, is true... except whichever way you choose to look at it, the way she went about it means that she made herself a part of that very problem.

If she had made a documentary about it, using footage that was already out there, I doubt anyone would have a problem with it. If she had used older actresses who looked young, I doubt as many people would have a problem with it. But instead she went and used actual children - and in doing so, exposed them to the very kind of inappropriate behavior she condemns.

I'm not going to assume any motivations on her part other than the ones she herself stated. But even going off those, it's a misguided, unbelievably short-sighted, utterly self-defeating effort to create more of something in order to denounce it.

Plenty of paedos are coming out of of hiding now defending this abomination.
