A good show if you can get past the idiocy of the non-believers
I'm not a believer myself, but if it was thrown in my face the way it was on this show, I would be at church seven days a week. Kristen just refuses to accept the truth about her existence. Her mother also is too accepting of her experiences considering she can see demons. I get that is part of the show's gimmick, but sometimes it is just too much.
I also felt some of the characters were active participants in the evil but then didn't seem to be aware of it, like Dr. Boggs. There were also way too many coincidences where one character goes off by themselves and has a religious experience when, conveniently, no one else was around to see it (or drugs made a religious experience happen). Just too many things happening that people did not explain to the others around them because then pieces would have been put together and the show would have lost it's premise.
I think I felt worst for Andy. I don't think he asked for any of the bad stuff that happened to him. His life was ruined just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and now he is borderline insane for life with a psycho girlfriend.
Anyhow, entertaining show. Worth watching.
