They left us with 9 new characters, 3 cliffhangers and 2 major story dumps...only for none of that stuff to be followed up on in any other movies/projects. Not even a passing reference.

shareMy guess is no. There's been a dip in comic film revenue (for several reasons) of late and this one in particular didn't light up the box office or garner rave reviews.
The best hope for seeing these characters again, or at least some of them, is if they were to pop up on other Marvel films -- either as cameos or major players.
Doubtful.
