New characters, new concept, however nothing that could pull in a person or grab a person to stay constantly intrigued and on the edge of their seat.

I loathed the design of the deviants. Thought they were hideous. That was probably the intention with the design, but I did not like at all whenever they appeared on-screen.

The shot showing the Celestial stuck in the ocean is extremely memorable.
Loved that.

The Indian guy with the camera was funny. None of the Eternals characters stand-out. Ikaris was just way too clingy. Was awful to watch. And being the bad guy in this woke era was such a turn-off.

Gemma Chan looked confused a lot of the time, and did not know what to do. Some shots of focusing on her were just way too long. Kumail's character was annoying.

Loved the Domo design. Looked awesome. Way too much CGI. Less is more. I liked the voice of Arishem.

I don't hate this movie, but won't remember it anytime soon.

Just finished it. It's the least enjoyable MCU movie for me since Thor 2. It has some good ideas but it's way too long and it focuses on the boring Eternals like Sersi or Ikaris besides the more animated ones like Kingo and Sprite. I can't believe the MCU got Angelina fucking Jolie for a movie and made her perhaps the least interesting character.
The subtle attraction between Druig and Makkari was more compelling than the lame triangle between Sersi, Ikaris, and Jon Snow. Speaking of whom, Kit Harrington got screwed with this movie. He does not do anything.
But I will say, the big set pieces and the CGI look great. It appears Chloe Zhao can handle big blockbuster action. Maybe next time if the script has tighter pacing and better characterization, she'd have a potential masterpiece.
