It looks like garbage!

Just wanted to state that for the record.

Whenever I criticize the godawful Snyderverse, his deranged fanboys are quick to accuse anyone who bashes his "vision" for DC of being a "Marveltard" who just wants the movie because we're supposedly Marvelities who want any and all DC based adaptations to fail.

Well, as I've said many times, IF the MCU ever makes a lousy film, I'll be the FIRST to call them out for it... so here I am.

The reverse is also true... if some film in the Snyderverse was actually GOOD, I'd be happy to admit I was wrong and they managed to make something decent in spite of Snyder's horrible vision. Most recently I saw Wonder Woman 2 and it was indeed garbage, just as I predicted it would be. The Snyderverse Superman, Batman, AND Wonder Woman have now ALL been ruined by his "vision". Sorry! If your main trio is DOA, its long past time to put the Snyderverse out of its misery and start over from scratch.

But yeah... the MCU doing the Eternal looks like they are on the wrong track, with politically correct "woke" trash trying to pander to every group on the SJW checklist. Hopefully its just an one-off mistake and they recover nicely with Spider-Man in December.

Time will tell.

(And for the record, I actually PREFER DC characters to Marvel characters. That's WHY I want the Snyderverse dead and buried, so we can get GOOD adaptations of DC characters again!)

It came across as garbage to me as soon as their focus on casting was about how many "diverse" people they could cast rather than casting to fill the roles with actors and actresses that best resembled the characters from the comic or thespians talented enough to give these unknown characters verve and presence.

It came across as uber-garbage when the first thing I learned about the film from all the media was not the plot, or the characterizations, or what sort of visionary approach the film was taking, but rather that the film would include an interracial gay kiss between a black man and a Muslim. Why on Earth is that important and why would Disney think that's the first thing that people should know about (other than the casting) for a brand new cinematic franchise?

Everything else went downhill from there. I can't even remember if I watched a full trailer, it just looked so "meh". The casting seemed all wrong, and there was nothing visually or thematically engaging based on the little I've seen of it in ads.

Based on the responses from critics, it seems as if my impressions of the film weren't far off.

"IF the MCU ever makes a lousy film, I'll be the FIRST to call them out for it..."

Have you seen "Black Widow", then?

HE HASN'T SEEN THIS ONE EITHER.🤨

Iron Man 2, Thor 1&2, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Avengers 2.

Haven't seen it yet. Will wait for it on video. Seems kinda weird they'd do a Black Widow solo film AFTER they killed off the character...
