What a trip that was! The first half (especially the amazingly hallucinatory first 5 mins) almost feels like something Aronofsky could do. The second half changes the pace and mood, not for the best, but is still pretty good for what it is; a psychedelic sci-fi drama. I would rewatch it for sure in a year or so in the meantime, I’m sure it will stick with me. My rating: 7.5/10

It's in the same world as the movies Resolution, The Endless and Something In the Dirt - all of which are entertaining in my opinion.

I thought all of those movies were top shelf - they all rate 8.5 from me.
I was surprised that Synchronic had a couple big time actors in it - I wonder if they're friends with Moorehead and Benson.
