commentary track from rian johnson available

johnson has posted a link on twitter (https://twitter.com/rianjohnson/status/1207759126782189578) to his commentary track that you can download & listen to on your phone while watching the film in the theatre.

a very neat idea, i think. i used to really enjoy commentary tracks back in the day when i was full in on physical media. i wouldn't mind if this started a little trend.

I've seen this movie 3 times now and love it. My 13 year old son went with his mom for a 4th viewing. We definitely have to go see it again along with the commentary track.

i absolutely loved it too. i've only made it out to see it once, but it's so filled with detail that it's bound to be a film that will be fun to return to again & again. i wanted to see it again with the commentary track, but it's last day in the theatre here is tomorrow. i couldn't make it on the weekend, and i have family commitments today & tomorrow, so i guess i'll have to wait until it's up for rental or streaming.

My son and I went for our 4th viewing over the weekend and listened to the commentary track. It was quite interesting and enlightening and Rian drew our attention to a lot of stuff we missed on our previous 3 viewings. Great experience!

nice. i just noticed that it's still playing in my town at a theatre that's a bit of a trek for me to get to. depending on the weather & my initiative that day, i might catch a new years matinee & give the commentary track a listen.

He did it with Looper too. So it's a thing now.
