Ben Foster was miscast

He's a good actor and i like him in just about everything he does.

But his character in this movie was a tough, menacing, war-wearied, brutal military leader and he just wasn't believable physically - he was too small, short and soft looking to play this role. He just isn't masculine and rugged as you'd expect such a man to be.

Someone like Chris Hemsworth or even Henry Cavill with the right make up and costume would've been better. 20 years ago, a prime Russell Crowe would've owned this role.

Movie's plot wasn't easy to follow and even though it had a good cast and lots of decent action scenes, failed to be as good as it could've been. I felt like I'd watched episode 2 of a 3 part mini series. 6.5/10 for me.

That maggot scene was gross af too. Wish I had some Unsee juice.
