Jonathan Frakes says the TNG episode "Code of Honor" is offensive and should be removed from broadcast and erased. Why is Frakes offended by an episode of a series that has always been woke?

The original intent was to create a planet in which the inhabitants were black which is a great idea since most planets were white or majority white.
The problem is that the writers and costume designers had unconscious bias which lead the episode to be filled with stereotypes.
Don't forget that ALL people are exposed to the same stereotypes over a lifetime so it's important to be consciously aware and alert in order not to unintentionally repeat them.
That episode is cringeworthy because of the bad writing so I tend to avoid it, but I don't believe it should be removed from the reruns.
