Just as bad, if not worse than Madame Web
Easily one of the worst movies I've seen this year. Only redeeming factor was that it was so bad it was hilarious to watch.

shareAgreed, saw it last night for a laugh as it’s the last film in the SSU apparently.
It’s really bad! Honestly worth watching just to see how bad a $100 million + budgeted Sony film can be in 2024. Obviously the screenplay is dreadful but the big surprise is how flat the directing is and how choppy the editing is.
The editor seemed to use the worst takes as well, some of the line delivery, particularly from Ariana DeBose was hilariously bad! The directing is also lifeless but when your script is this bad even Spielberg couldn’t bring this crap to life.
Also far too many characters, Kraven is off screen for far too long at times and the pacing is so sluggish with endless exposition.
So yes, it really is as bad if not worse than Madame Web haha.
Glad I'm not seeing it then. Kraven should be a villain in a Spider-Man movie. Not a vigilante.
shareAgreed, I thankfully saw this film for free and I only went because it was already confirmed to flop and the SSU was being scrapped.
I don't know why Sony thought these films were a good idea, I really hope this film being panned and flopping doesn't deter Marvel Studios from using Kraven as a villain in a future Spider-Man movie because he truly is one of the best supervillains that Stan Lee and Steve Ditko ever created.
I was waiting on a car repair, so I caught the 1:45pm show and I was the only one there.
The best part was when I fell asleep in the middle of the movie.
Honestly like with Madame Web, it makes me far more interested in checking it out.
