This just hits you over the head with the "no person is illegal!" talking points of the crowd that wants to eliminate our borders. I thought I was getting a scifi story here.

Immigrants who evaporated Dallas, killed numerous police officers and innocent people (the neighbors and the guy at the dinner) and one of them bragging about how he stopped killing people?

It must to be your first movie outside the run-of-the-mill superhero genre.

Right? If it’s about immigrants, it certainly doesn’t paint them as non-dangerous. I guess the OP would prefer there be no recognition of their humanity.
