So far it's been said that the lead will be a black actress but either way I hope they go with an experienced 20 something again, rather than trying a real teenager.

There was a reason Avery Brooks''s character was not called Picard or Kirk on star trek deep space nine--but was called Captain Benjamin Sisko. He had his very own distinct name and character/story. I appreciate support and encourage diversity I don't appreciate copying.
