So relevant to current events
Just finished this movie tonight. It so mirrors our country right now in so many ways.
shareJust gave it a watch tonight myself. It was a moving film with great performances by the two leads and I think Bokeem Woodbine gave the best supporting performance. I don't think I'll watch it again bc it was depressing. I'm surprised Daniel K. does not seem to have any work on the horizon.
shareI found it "depressing" for different reasons. I found it hard to believe someone was deranged enough to commit this story to film.
shareI don't like how it showed the mechanic's son shooting the riot cop. That part seemed unearned and made little sense.
Had it been me I probably would have stuck around to have my day in court and hoped to be proven innocent by the dashcam footage. But then we wouldn't have gotten the love story which was the main plot of this movie.
