Lots of neurotic characters, some can be out of touch at times but it is light hearted. Only person I don't like is Miris mum. What a lass she is.
shareHer mom was the same actress that played the mother on Anne with an E. Shes a good actress, and played her part well, even if shes unlikable at times.
shareI think the mom became likable after the episode where they were waiting for the roadside assistance. That was quite the monologue she spewed about her feelings for Miri.
shareJust started watching this (on S1 ep1) and had the biggest giggle-inducing laugh response to the fish and chip guy’s line “you can’t just yell “feces” at customers.” The character is funny and the delivery perfect. I am glad I found this on Showtime. Going to slowly binge it to fully enjoy it.
