Jennifer Garner isn't Latino in real life. I found it a weird casting for her.

The actors themselves aren’t all mixed, which leads us to believe that not all of her children in this movie were actually her kids. Either adopted or stolen is my guess.
sharewere not talking about the actors in the real life we are talking about the characters. The father is Latino and the mother is white, thus the children are mixed with both. Pretty simple stuff.

But the OP is right, this is sort of a plot hole. The oldest daughter isn’t a mixed white in real life, so do we really have to pretend that it’s Jennifer Garner’s daughter? These children can’t all be possibly hers.
