What I don't get is how people would take her more seriously if she changed her voice to a lower tone... I guess in the business world they're into that sort of shit.

Definitely one of the nastier personality disorders at work there, probably Anti-Social Personality Disorder (a.k.a. Sociopathy) or Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
One of the ones that comes with "a lack of empathy", that is, an absolute lack of a conscience. Her non-functioning product had the capacity to make people sick or kill them, and she just didn't care.

shareWell, I'm going to play devil's advocate for a moment here. Lets see what happens at the trial. You know... innocent until proven guilty and all. However, the evidence against her looks pretty bad right now.
But you never know what might happen in court. I assume the prosecution will have to prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt. As of now it looks like the coronavirus lock down saved her ass for the time being. I think her trial was scheduled for last month.
I still don't get why people invested, one look at those eyes and I would have been running for the door. Tbh, she looks a little crazy. Lol
