I'm about 3/4 of the way through. The fraud started much earlier than one gets the impression from the movie.

Agreed. My book was my first exposure to the story and it is excellent. One of the best reading experiences I've had in years. Loved it.

Gibney is a great filmmaker but his documentary feels rather thin in comparison.
