The series repeated the missteps of Episode I
Two of the most widely criticized aspects of 'Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace' (1999) were the wisecracking child character of Anakin and the way Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon's well-choreographed duel with Darth Maul was chopped up around the painfully uninteresting CGI battle between the Gungans and Battle Droids.
Yet, for some reason, the showrunner of 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' presented Princess Leia as a similarly precious character to young Anakin, and interspersed the climactic (and stylishly shot) Obi-Wan vs. Darth Vader duel with a wounded Reva's clumsy (and flatly filmed) brawl with Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru.
I'm not sure if this is a case of a showrunner ignoring the critics or whether these choices were some kind of deliberate throwback to the Episode I-III trilogy (the overall "look" of the series did seem be trying to create some visual continuity with Ewan McGregor's Star Wars films).
