The action/chase sequences..

Are they purposely bad? Like am I missing an inside meta joke or something?

The chase scenes with kid Leia.. she outruns full grown adults several times by jogging slowly away. They will be within arms reach of her and slowly make a hug movement in her direction and she just turns and jogs again while they stand there like "whoa she's too fast!!"

Am I the only one seeing this? It's comically bad!

Other than that, no real gripes with the show so far.

Edit- No gripes, I mean, other than whoever the actress is who plays Reva. Holy forced acting. Not intimidating at all. Michonne would have her head on the ground within 30 seconds.

Yeah I enjoyed the episodes a lot...its a great show. So much so that the chase scenes seemed so out of place, they were bad. BAD bad. So bad that I looked up the actress to check her age...she somehow looks like she's 6-7 years old but no, apparently she's 9, maybe even ten now.
Because she didn't look much more difficult to catch than a toddler...lol really.

At one point Obi is right behind her as she starts to run off, they round a corner and suddenly he's a good 20 yards behind her...
It was bad, it was silly and it was weird as hell that they didn't figure out a better way to shoot that considering how well done the rest of the episodes seemed to be. Really pulled me out of the show.

Also, thank you...yeah I didn't much realize what was going on with that Reva woman and yeah, that's it...she's just not selling it for me. That's exactly it.

Yeah, the kid who plays Leia looks younger than 10, maybe they couldn't find a small enough 10 year old. Carrie Fisher was a tiny little thing.

As to the action sequences, I was bothered by Reva's big badass moment, which was slow and didn't look convincing. And which was also done with a dark-skinned person wearing black, in a dark night. Couldnt see much, could we!

I didn't have a problem with any of the fight scenes, but yeah Leia running away from the goons was laughably bad.

I always thought the woman playing Michonne was a bad interpretation of the comic book character. She poses too much when she fights and makes goofy faces. I always called her Danai Diarrhea because of her faces. I never cared for her Michonne.

Yeah, you're right.

-That whole chase sequence was horribly done. My eyes hurt from rolling them too much.
-The actress playing Reva (Moses Ingram) is unbelievably bad. Her delivery is not convincing at all. How the hell did she even land that role.
