When the production for the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series begins in April, Ahmed Best, who played Jar Jar Binks in the Star Wars prequels, will not be present. The actor recently broke the news to fans who hoped his character would return.

"Thanks for the love, but I will not be in this series. As much as I would’ve loved to be a part of it. But I’m ecstatic to see folks who I love dearly back together doing great things," Best said via social media.

I would have liked to see Jar Jar's demise after he turned all that power over to Palpatine in ROTS.
