So they got rid of Doug Collins and brought in Jackson because they believed he would coach the way Krause wanted...the triangle. He does use the triangle, he wins 6 NBA titles yet they are stating that there is NO WAY Jackson will be the coach in 1998-1999.

Getting rid of Phil was like set in stone.

What was that all about?
Getting rid of a 6-time champ coach, the best player ever is saying he will leave if Jackson isn't back....what the hell was their obsession with getting rid of Phil Jackson?

I think it was because Jerry Krause didn't like him and felt he should be the one getting the credit for all the championships.

Agreed...and, looking back, we see who were really the people responsible for all the Bulls' championships (and Krause was way down the list).
