Really violent and kind of sick ...

I am glad I am not a kid growing up today, this kind of ubiquitous
pervasive gore and violence is not good for people's minds.

And yes, occasionally there is a reason to make, show or view a
movie/show like this, but from what I watch today ... almost
everything is like that. Is there nothing else our media storyteller
can tell us, or are they just so empty of ideas and have to resort
to vicious gore and violence?

reply

Don't forget that humans are still unfortunately the most violent and destructive species on Earth. Humans are violent by nature. Hence, the need for violent and bloody entertainment. Did you know that there has never been a single day of world peace on this planet? Humans have been violent since the beginning of time.

The clickbait at the bottom calls it too scary to finish watching. Any truth to that?

reply

No, of course not. Nothing is really to scary to watch I just think it is sickening ... we ought to have enough good sense to avoid trash like this.

reply

You might not like it but others don't share your opinion. I thought this is a far welcome alternative to the regular Hollywood garbage that's been vomiting forth for the last decade.
They can't make a decent horror movie anymore, and whatever they do come out with lacks any originality, or is simply a remake of something already done.
You obviously don't understand the story of this series at all.

reply

I liked it very much and am really disappointed that it's been cancelled. I was hoping for a Season 2.

reply

Some of these series are just better off finishing in one season. Ares I think is pretty much over. I don't know how they can stretch this story any further.
