Traitor
This is the most anti american film ever made!
shareNo "America-is-the-greatest-nation"-jerk-off-material?
share>> This four-part documentary series looks at the exploitative and genocidal aspects of European colonialism, from America to Africa.
So, is that implying pro-American is the same as pro exploitative, genocide and colonialism?
The indians were doing genocide against each other long before the whites came.
shareThat's just not true, and certainly no where near the extent from the whites. That's just ignorant racist nonsense.
shareReally? The Aztecs weren't conquering, enslaving and sacrificing anyone?
shareLike most Americans, I was not using the term Indians, to refer to Indians outside the US. The Aztecs dealt mainly with the Spanish empire which was even more brutal than the English and the French, whereas the North American Indians were involved with the English and the French. Like why South American Indians speak mostly Spanish. Seems like you are using the Spanish empire and confusing it to make a dishonest point ... and even so the Spanish were far more brutal than the English/French. Like for example there are no indigenous people's left at all in Argentina - they just wiped them all out.
shareThe earlier poster was correct that disease was the primary killer and the colonists didn't spread that shit on purpose. No one even knew what a germ was then.
Of course its true that the US government in some cases dealt harshly and unjustly with the native population, but the production in question is just more white people = evil nonsense, as if every culture hasn't been full of problems--didn't the Africans sell their own people into slavery and aren't they today engaged in neverending tribal warfare?--and as if white people are not also responsible for a hell of a lot of humanitarian good in the world.
You don't know what you are talking about, and neither did the previous poster. All the other stuff doesn't matter and it doesn't change the past. If it doesn't matter to you, that is one thing, but lying about it or pretending you know is another.
shareHe’s Haitian and this film discusses more than American colonization
