Saddest part about this
It won't do a damn thing to his career. We've known for years that this POS loves messing with little girls and he keeps getting away with it.

shareCertainly his fans won't mind, the fools will keep denying and spending their money on this crap.
However, if things have become THIS public, surely some DA somewhere will think about actually prosecuting him for his years and violently illegal acts? There's got to be something where the statute of limitations hasn't run out.
I certainly hope so. I finished the last episode of the series the other night and just reading his name makes me ill.
shareHopefully the #mute approach takes hold. If no one plays his music and he cant perform anywhere he will disappear. He will be lucky if someone doesnt kill him. Im surprised one of those parents havent staked him out and assassinated him....
shareThey are still playing his music. I had this debate with my mother. People are saying you have to separate the man from his art but I disagree. A lot of artist put their personal stories and issues in their art. So when you have a man making music like, Sex me, 12 play, seems like your ready and a bunch of other sexually charged songs, while messin with anyone under 18, you can't ignore that. I mean the man calls himself PIPED PIPER of R&B.
I am a Chicagoan so the R Kelly stories have been around since he became famous. He used to hang in the parking lot of a high school in the Chi. I used to see this dude performing in the subways before he made it. Dude is a musical sensational but he is a deviant.
I remember when the tape came out, a lot of people didn't believe it was him &/or didn't care as long as he was rolling out bops.
