Things I learned from watching Crawl....

1. If you stand still in the water, a alligator will just swim right by you, no matter if you're covered in blood.
2. Just remembering your days on the swim team makes it possible to out swim a alligator.
3. Pulling your leg from the grasp of an alligator is pretty easy, hell it'll hardly even bleed.
4. Alligators run in large packs when the story requires it, then it's back to only one.

The main actress must've been part Wolverine. Had her arm and leg chomped, and only had puncture wounds and seemed to walk around fine throughout the movie, as well as swim at top speed. Dad gets chomped and has his leg split and loses a forearm.

6. Don't have an unsealed crawlspace under your home in Florida
7. ATMs are easily moved around
8. Choppers can fly just fine in a mega-storm

9. Looters aren't always African-Americans.

This mega-storm wasn't all that windy. Even though they were right in the middle of it. That's kind of odd. But I guess that's why the choppers were able to fly through it?

2. Those were her days on the swim team. She was a member of her college swimteam, on scholarship.

Gators can swim about four times faster than the fastest humans, though, so its still pretty absurd they didn't catch her.

The scene with the swimmer gal dragging her dad on the tarp while the gator slowly lumbers after them was ridiculous, too.
Gators are also faster out of the water. They are pretty quick, but can't keep up their top speed for very long. The Dad was wrong about that.

I'll add another one, hurricanes aren't always very windy. A MAJOR hurricane would typically be howling.
