This movie went south really quick....

American History X to me was an awesome example of what this movie could have aspired to be. We hear stories about people who go from participating in online activities that gets them "radicalized". The movie could have answered all the questions we have about mass shooters and how they evolve from online trolls to active shooters.

Instead, the movie took the low road, and became nasty and exploitative. There was alot of potential in the premise, but I guess in an effort to uh, "entertain", the movie became something else so the way the movie ends is pretty unconvincing.

This kinda reminds me of the movie "States Evidence" which took the topic of school shootings and along the way was sleazy and nasty.

I know some would say that this was liberal left Hollywood BS, and American History X was the product of a leftist outlook, but it was more serious about the subject matter and convincing. Cuck, however, is trash.
