shareIt is, Alain Resnais a clear influence. It's the director's master use of tracking shots, minimal dialogue, brute realism that makes all the difference. The director's first film is even more of a masterpiece. Shifting in and out of past and present with a 40-something minute tracking shot. Causing dizziness. Because life and time and memory can be dizziness to comprehend. Trilateration of past, present, and future, the future approaching the past to remember the present.
